I was very excited to hear from a frequent reader, Ellen, that Lands’ End is advertising a line of Made in the USA comfortable active wear for men. The website states that it is designed in Wisconsin, grown in Texas and crafted in California. The line has some great basic t-shirts in a nice selections of colors. The price is $30.oo for one short sleeve t-shirt–so now basically instead of buying 2 t-shirts at Target for my husband that wear out quickly, I will buy one Made in the USA at Land’s End that will hopefully last twice as long. Thanks Ellen for letting me know!

I was overjoyed when I received an email from one of my favorite realtors, Ryan Cave from Keller Williams Realtors in Allen, TX. Ryan informed me about a local shopping center’s, Watters Creek at Montgomery Farm, campaign to showcase Made in USA Products starting on February 20th-President’s Day. What a fantastic idea! I frequent this shopping center already, but now I plan to check out more of the stores selling Made in the USA products.
“One of the easiest ways to boost our economy is to buy American,” said Kriste Klepper, Marketing Director of Watters Creek. “We see this initiative as a simple thing we can do that has the ability to go a long way. By educating the consumer on what brands to shop and stores to find items made in America we are able to help them identify choices.”

A big “Thank you” to Watters Creek and Ryan Cave! I know where I will be on President’s Day this year!
